[Member _Ram…] Posted July 7, 2019 Share Posted July 7, 2019 https://www.rode.com/microphones/i-xlr I wrote to Rode Tech Support for help to recommend gear for quality recording on Mob Phones using Smule App.. They promptly suggested their Rode i XLR that is used for recording interviews on IoS Mobile phones. I nifty little gadget that you plug the Microphone into. They are not familiar with Smule and have promised to look into it. The Rode iXLR unfortunately is battery operated as it was designed as a portable equipment so does not have provision for an external power supply. I have suggested that they modify it for use with Smule and to include a built in Power supply. The suggestion was taken on board and passed on to developers. Only time will tell.
