Using iRig mic with Smule on Android

Hello,

I get an IK Multimedia iRig mic recently. This model :

It works with the application but there is a problem. The problem is that not only the sound captured by the mic is affected by the sounds effects of the application (studio, pop star, etc...) but also the background music ! This problem don't happen when I record with headphones. This problem is annoying since it change the sound of the karaoke soundtrack.

Is anybody else encountered this problem ?

I bought an iRig Pro Mic and had to return it the very next day as it did not work with my Android Samsung 7. The sales people listened to the sound and agreed it was no good and gave me full refund. The manufacturers says it is Android compatible but is not to be honest. Same problem with Roland Go Mixer Pro and Yamaha MG 06 X. After wasting 15 months trying to make smule work properly on Samsung 7 I gave up and have bought an i Pad. Thanks  to Open Type for the endless support he has given me during this period.
