Cannot identify the Singing Portion..Please help

Hello Friends

I am using smule in my iphone. I am currently facing an issue and would appreciate if someone can guide me to fix this issue

I selected a song  from the library and clicked on Sing. Then i selected the Duet option>Create my own parts>and i sing the song and sent it as an invite to my followers. The issue is that when someone (either my followers or from public) try to join my invite they cannot identify which part i sang and which part they need to sing. All the lyrics shows up in blue colour.. So very difficult to differentiate for them. 

They need to hear the song completely and join where i didn't sing which can be at times annoying. 

Please if any of you have any idea to solve this issue i request you to guide me. Please check the attached image for reference.

Yeah, this is confusing. But it really works like that. If you choose “create your own parts”, it really just means that the default parts created by the uploader are ignored and you sing whenever you want.

Thank you Brother for your response. I have raised a ticket for this issue with Smule. Lets see what they have to say about this issue.

I'm going to guess that Smule won't be able to do anything about this, as it's not technically an issue. Like @opentype said, the option you chose is meant to work that way. I totally understand it can be confusing. Would it be too much trouble for you to re-open the duet, but this time choose "Part 1" or "Part 2" instead of "Create my own parts"? That way, people who join can clearly see when they're supposed to sing. I hope it works out!

Or another alternative, you upload your own song (backing track) that way you can choose your own part to sing.  I am an uploader myself and the main purposed of uploading songs so I can choose  what part I'm comfortable to sing.  Hope I contributed an idea on your case.
