[Member real…] Posted May 27, 2022 Share Posted May 27, 2022 In the "Settings" part of the app, there is a section which lists all the US and international patents that Smule has got for features which are presumably implemented in this app. The funny thing is, many of these are not implemented in the app. Including some which I consider basic features which should be in this app, and is in other apps such as StarMaker (which I don't like because of all its bots and other such fake stuff). One example is pitch shifting. Some people can't sing in the original key of a song - it may be too high pitched. Smule provides no way to change the pitch of a track before singing it, yet they have a patent which describes exactly such a feature! But StarMaker does allow you to do that. Go figure.
