[Member Rockā¦] Posted December 3, 2021 Share Posted December 3, 2021 You can message their customer service and they can try to restore the upload for you.Ā If that doesn't work, it's likely that you momentarily lost connection to their server while the upload was happening so the metadata transferred, but not the actual video. They can help if the video processed,but you lost connection right before it finalized. Your device temporarily caches the video and then uploads it to Smule upon saving it, along with the meta data. If the connection fails, the video is left on your phone and eventually erased.Ā The meta data transfers first and stays in the database, so it ends up as a left-over artifact of a performance that never uploaded. Either it's sits at "processing" forever, or if it makes it a little further, it might look like you can open it but it never starts when you press play. Hope that helps. Uploading Processing Optimizing during playback. I guess your phone is involved only in the first step. The others happening at smule. On the other hand there just cannot be a WiFi only option because people sing and upload on the same phone without assistance from other equipments. Certainly.š Clearing data solves the complementary problem of partial download of invites also. Here only the initial portion of the invite gets downloaded and when joining, the app skips halfway through. [Member duojā¦] Posted December 13, 2021 Share Posted December 13, 2021 I've found on more than one occasion that if you load the song that is "optimizing" on a desktop computer, sometimes it'll push it through and complete the process so that it's playable on a mobile device.
