Is creating a group chat is same as creating a group??

Are your talking about group chat in the smule app or another app like line? Not that it matters I guess. Usually groups have group chat (multiple ones actually). But there's usually a lot more to it than just having a group chat open. Just creating a group chat and saying....'ok...I'm in a group now' may not be very successful. But what do I know?
